The Resolution 2492 of 2022 modified specific articles of the previous Resolution 810 of 2021, which established the new technical regulations for nutritional and front labeling. The following changes can be highlighted:

• Manufacturers must implement changes to their processes and products following the established conditions within the next 6 months.
• Frontal labeling will be octagonal stamps and not circular stamps.
• Manufacturers who wish to adapt before the 6 months granted period may do so.
• As of June 15, 2024, foods that do not comply with the new standard must be withdrawn from the market.
